Gratitude
Honoring the land & lineage
I live, practice, and share yoga on the unceded land of the Patwin People (Wintun Nation). I honor their relationship with this land and offer gratitude for the opportunity to learn, live, and gather here.
I honor the sacred roots of yoga that emerged from India and hold deep gratitude for the teachers and wisdom keepers who have preserved and shared these teachings through generations. Yoga is more than movement; it is a way of living that invites greater awareness, compassion, connection, and freedom—both on and beyond the mat.
Yoga
A way of living
When I became a mom, I found myself navigating and searching to understand who this new person was. After years of balancing motherhood with a demanding job, I decided to leave the 9-to-5 to slow down and live with more ease and intention.
This shift led me to a Trauma-Informed Yoga Training, which sparked a desire to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with a focus on yoga’s roots and social justice. My hope is to create spaces where your authentic self and internal voice are supported and seen.
Ahimsa
Non-harm & compassion
My yoga work is grounded in Ahimsa—non-harm and deep compassion.
Yoga is a practice of being gentle with ourselves when the world feels demanding, overwhelming or scary. Whether in therapy or on the mat, I hold space to explore and notice ourselves.
There is power and healing in slowing down, honoring our needs, finding joy and loving ourselves with the same care we so often give others.
As a white-bodied yoga teacher, I approach this work with humility, gratitude, and a commitment to learning. and unlearning I am deeply thankful to my teachers—Zabie Yamasaki and Susanna Barkataki, Linda, Jessica, and the many others who have guided my path. I acknowledge that my life and work have benefited from the wisdom, labor, creativity, and healing traditions of oppressed communities and I strive to honor those contributions with humility and respect.
